SWOT Poetry Events April 2002

April 9th
Open mic hosted by Bill Zischang
Celebration of National Poetry Month/SWOT Printing Fund
8:00pm
Liz's Lounge
downtown at 7th & Boulder. 2nd floor.
2 things happening here in lieu of a featured poet. In honor of National Poetry Month, we will be opening the mic to seasoned poets, those who are just starting out, and those who are not even poets at all, like me! All you have to do is bring your favorite poem. It can be your own, but hey, that's being a little narcissistic, isn't it?

Oh yea, and in case you ARE a poet and are looking to publish a chapbook, we at SWOT have put our heads together and figured out a way to buy our own materials and equipment. We'll be talking about that a little and taking our first donations for those who would like to participate in the project, those who would like to publish their books, and those who would just like to help out.
There is a restaurant next door that serves food at bar till 9pm.
Free to the public (however, please consider contributing a donation).
