Doumbek/Darabuka Class, taught by Lu and Joe Price, founding members of TMD on percussion from Morocco to Armenia, no experience necessary; extra drums available for new participants; djembes welcome, dancers welcome. Short lesson is followed by a drum circle/jam.

The Living Arts Drumming Circles are open to any person who wishes to drum, dance, sing, or play any unplugged instrument with an open ear to others present. It is a great time of rhythms which are begun by anyone and wind and change as each person adds their own expression to the mix. The next open drumming circle will be Oct. 12, and there will be a potluck dinner. Living Arts has beautiful djembes and ashikos for sale.
