We need just about as many people as possible to help out with this...AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
We can give you a list of places to leave them/put them up...maybe even a roll of tape.

Donations Staff
Trustworthy folk to help "pass the hat" during performances. We would need two people to do this during each performance. Sign up for a block of time: an hour...two hours...10 hours...whatever you can.

In the spirit of the beloved community envisioned by Dr.Martin Luther
King Jr., the Tulsa Peace Fellowship, and Spoken Word of Tulsa invite all of you to come out and jam with us
this coming Saturday.
In a beloved community, differences are not only respected but
celebrated, conflicts are addressed nonviolently, oppression is
vanquished, and reconciliation is fostered so that all people may
someday live in harmony.
And while we're doing all that, we can have a great time!
The celebration will include music, poetry, art, dance and food
representing the different cultures within our great city.
Bring a blanket or chairs, a picnic lunch, your friends and family.

VOLUNTEERS WILL BE NEEDED FOR TPF TABLE AT THE JAM FEST
We will help register people to vote and share information about the
activities, goals and mission of theTulsa Peace Fellowship.
Please respond to tulsapeace@hotmail.com if you can help out by
taking a two hour shift. We'd like to have 3 people at the table at
all times. Shifts begin at the start of the Jam on Saturday and
continue until 9PM. |

Volunteers to man the beverage table
We need at least one person -- trustworthy and quick with money -- to sell drinks (soda and water, etc.), and one person -- that can carry heavy containers, about 25 lbs. -- to continue stocking drinks and ice for the beverage table.

Volunteers to supervise parking
We need at least one person to direct traffic during the morning (7am to about 10am), at about lunchtime (12noon) , and in the early evening ('round about 6-7pm) when folks are arriving, if there is a need for overflow parking. This person would need to make sure that no-one is parked illegally, etc.

Security / Crowd Mgmt, etc.
"Peaceful Security People" -- not to intimidate, or anything like that, but just to keep on alert for someone who has a problem, may be hurt and/or sunstruck, needs wheelchair access to an area of the park, and stuff like that.
